In this session, we will introduce the primary component types and design concepts used when considering vegetative roofing, hardscape, and how "blue roof" stormwater management features can be incorporated into them. Attendees will also learn about the sustainable and economic benefits of green roofs, address structural and drainage considerations, and discuss design principles for roofing and waterproofing blue-green rooftop systems.
